Mouton Rothschild 2013 木桐 2013 750ml (紅酒/Red Wine)
This is a red wine from Bordeaux, France. It is the original wine of Chateau Mouton in 1855. Mouton Winery has a very long history, beginning in 1853 when the Rothschild family was in charge. In 1973, the Mouton winery was promoted from the second-class to the first-class. This was the only upgrade since the Médoc classification was determined in 1855. Since 1945, the winery has invited an artist every year to use his original work to draw wine labels for the winery’s authentic wines, which also adds more artistic flavour to its wines and is very worthy of collection. This wine has a deep colour and an elegant and complex aroma with the aroma of wild berries. The aromas of pepper, blackcurrant and dried flowers permeate the mouth, giving a sense of harmony and satisfaction. Its tannins are refined, mature and supple, with a delicate taste, clear and compact structure, and excellent ageing potential.
